Every once in a while one comes across something that gives hope in a troubled world. Here is one that I have found. You may be interested in some of the powerful short videos in www.syriankids.ca .
There are lots of problems out there, but some just linger on longer. The Syrian civil war which began in 2011 has devastated much of the country and caused millions of refugees to flee from their country. However there is also a ray of hope there. A group of Syrian based Canadians have established a school of peace (Al Salam school) on the Syria-Turkey border. In this school, 1,800 refugee children are receiving an education. They can be part of a more hopeful future for Syria. See the three-minute video of the Al Salam school at the Syrian Kids Foundation website: www.syriankids.ca .
